What happens in the kindergarten St. Elisabeth

Bring time - arrival at the kindergarten - 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. Children can be brought to the facility from 7:00 a.m. onwards. They arrive at the kindergarten and report to the early service in the open groups. In the early service (from 7.00-8.00 a.m.) we work across groups. Our U3 group is occupied every morning from 7:00 am. At 8:00 a.m., all children go to their regular group and the group routine begins.

Free play - 7.00 a.m. to approx. 11.30 a.m. During free play, the children have the opportunity to play in their group rooms and the adjoining rooms. Starting at 9:00 a.m., when the drop-off time is over, the children may also play in the rooms that belong to more than one group (e.g., gymnasium, hallway, functional rooms). During free play time, the teachers integrate activities and projects (based on the children's environment and interests) for the children; our functional rooms can also be used for this purpose. For the morning circle, all play areas and rooms are tidied up and, if necessary, a joint morning circle is held within the group. Songs are sung, circle games are played, common topics and ideas are discussed and exchanged.

Free breakfast - until about 9:30 a.m. Until about 9:30 a.m., the children have the opportunity to take advantage of our daily breakfast offer - the offer is varied and is freshly prepared every morning.

Free play in the outdoor area Until about 11:30 a.m.,free play continues in our newly designed outdoor area. We try to use our outdoor area every day - no matter what the weather is like. The outside area is also cleaned up together before each group goes back to their group room for lunch.

Lunch - approximately 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (depending on age structure) The hot lunch, is delivered fresh daily by the caterer La Palma and is arranged within each group.

Lunchtime until 2:00 p.m. All children have the opportunity to rest after lunch. The children who take a nap are accompanied by a teacher to the nap room. The children who no longer wish to sleep can devote themselves to a quieter game within the group. At approximately 2:00 p.m., all children have another opportunity to eat something at the afternoon snack - this consists of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as the leftovers from breakfast.

1. pick-up time - until 2.30 p.m. Until 2.30 p.m. all children with a weekly care time of 35-hours are picked up. Parents always have the option to pick up their children before this time. The expected pick-up time or a deviation from the normal pick-up time should be communicated to an educator in the morning.

2. pick-up time - until 4: 00p.m . Children with a weekly care time of 45 hours are picked up until 4:00 p.m.

Afternoon activities and free play - until 4:00 p.m.
